Our Mission

The mission of
Willamette Valley Hospice is to enhance the quality of life for terminally ill persons and their families, to provide bereavement support for the caregivers and families of our patients and members of the community, and to educate the community about end of life philosophy and programs.
 

 

 

Aging Resources

     

American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) (www.aarp.org) - Offers resources and help for those over 50.

AgeNet (www.agenet.com) - Offers a comprehensive, national eldercare network to meet the specific needs of the fast growing aging population and their adult care giving children.

American Geriatric Society (www.americangeriatrics.org) - An organization of health care providers dedicated to improving the health and well being of all older adults.

Alzheimer Association (http://www.alz.org/) - Covers basic information about the Alzheimer’s Association: for persons with Alzheimer’s disease or for caregivers, health care professionals and researchers.

Aging in Stride (http://www.aginginstride.org) - This website is a guide to healthy aging and effective eldercare. A resource for older adults, caregivers and the health and service professionals that work with them.
