How does hospice care provide comfort and manage pain?
Hospice care professionals stay well-informed with current medications for pain and symptom relief. They also believe that emotional and spiritual pain should be given just as much consideration as physical pain. We feel it is important to support all of a patient's needs by offering music, massage, physical and speech therapies as well as bereavement support and dietary counseling. Other support includes spiritual counselors and social workers who are available to assist not only the patients but the family members too. |
